Foreign Minister Tedros Adhanom has conferred with his Rwandan counterpart Louise Mushikiwabo on ways of bolstering bilateral ties.
The two sides discussed about common issues in the continent and fostering their economic and political relations.
They also discussed how Ethiopia and Rwanda can collaborate in ensuring peace and security in the region.
Furthermore, the two ministers have talked about the schedule of the joint permanent commission that bringing together Ethiopia and Rwanda in different sectors.
Regarding the candidature of Dr. Tedros to the post of a Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Louise Mushikiwabo said now we have a very qualified candidate and Africa can secure the post. “We believe it is time to lead WHO.”
